We’re working with Palantir to find frontend engineers for a new team building real-time control and visualisation software for autonomous defence systems.
You’ll turn live data from radar, cameras, RF systems and autonomous platforms into fast, accurate and intuitive 3D operator interfaces. Think high-frequency sensor streams, noisy data, moving targets, geospatial state and real-world decisions.
The fun stuff
- Build interactive 3D environments using Three.js and WebGL
- Render live tracking and sensor data through WebSockets
- Visualise trajectories, sensor coverage and autonomous responses
- Integrate with track-fusion and sensor-calibration algorithms
- Support air-traffic avoidance and autonomous-system control
- Optimise rendering performance, memory use and frame rates
- Deploy software to edge infrastructure in operational environments
- Collaborate with engineers across robotics, autonomy, perception and geospatial systems
What Palantir needs
- Approximately 2–6 years of software engineering experience
- Strong, hands-on React, TypeScript and JavaScript skills
- A genuine frontend specialisation
- Production experience with complex, data-intensive interfaces
- Experience with Three.js or another JavaScript 3D framework
- Experience consuming and visualising real-time data through WebSockets or similar technologies
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- A CS, robotics or related degree, or equivalent practical experience
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security Clearance
- Willingness to travel approximately 25–75%, depending on the project
You don’t need previous defence experience. Backgrounds in autonomous vehicles, robotics, aerospace, simulation, gaming, geospatial technology, digital twins or industrial systems could translate brilliantly.
